We are an international and local 501(c)(3) Christian organization based in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Our mission is to deliver the good news of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ while assisting women and children traumatized by war in The Democratic Republic of The Congo (DRC) and the needs of immigrants locally.

"For I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me." Matthew 26:35,36.

War and political unrest in the Congo (DRC) has led to the abuse and neglect of many people. Many children have lost parents and many more are very mal-nourished and dying. Women and young girls have been victims of rape and other sexual abuses. They are ostracized from their families and communities, having no place to turn. The elderly who are weak and ill, need medical attention. It is our mission to help these vulnerable people by committing to the following:

  • Counseling sexually abused women and young girls and giving them opportunities for personal independence
  • Providing safe homes for orphaned children to live and grow
  • Providing medical attention for children and elderly suffering from illness and mal-nourishment
  • Promoting justice and community development

Locally, we want to meet the needs of immigrants by doing the following:

  • Providing food and clothing to those in need
  • Empowering disadvantaged citizens in our community to break the cycle of poverty
  • Provide information to African immigrants and refugee community where to seek general medical attention and regular checkups and reproductive health services
  • Providing interpretive services for those who cannot speak English
